Stress:

Stress is a natural inherent part of life even if we wish it wasn't!  Stress and relaxation are entwined like being awake and being asleep.

Helpful Stress is called Eustress.

  • This  is when we have the right amount of stress for the right duration and it is followed by relaxation. The Stress helps energise, motivate and focus us for a specific event. Then the relaxation response turns on, to let us rest and rejuvenate.

Unhelpful Stress becomes Distress.

  • It's too much stress at the wrong time, or for too long, so we can't relax. This stress can lead to burnout, demotivation, underperformance and creates disease.

You may know, "I don't need to be so stressed", but this conscious realisation doesn't make any difference! It's a bit like telling a stressed person to calm down! They know they need to calm down, but they can't at that moment.  

So we need a way to get that message to the subconscious mind!

Anxiety

We tend to talk about anxiety with words like worry, concern, dread, apprehension and unease. It's helpful to get a reasonable and rational "bad feeling about something" and avoid it, but it is unhelpful in excess.


Anxiety and stress are so interconnected that we treat them as a single presenting issue, so you don't have to decide if you need hypnotherapy sessions for anxiety or stress. It may be that one or the other is the main issue for you, but the other is also an important secondary issue.

What are the goals of Anxiety Stress Hypnotherapy Sessions?

  • Stress: We are not trying to get rid of stress or never have stress. we are deciding to have the right about of stress, for the right amount of time. Then the right amount of relaxations for the right amount of time.
  • Anxiety:  We don't have to fight against it or have no anxiety, or to be confident instead.  If we don't have full competence, we should not have full confidence. Appropriate anxiety is a message- it's warning us that we need to grow our competence, or it's reasonable to avoid that situation.
  • It's much better to hear that message and let it motivate us to first take actions to grow our competence than to rush into taking unreasonable actions that we're not yet competent to do, so we listen to it.
  • However, if we ARE competent and it's a situation we are best NOT to avoid, we can turn down the volume of the anxiety so its essence may still be there, but we might rename it 'nervous excitement'.

  • Anxiety stress blocks the body's ability to rest, rejuvenate and heal itself.
  • It affects the quality and quantity of our life and our ability to live out our life purpose.

Do you conduct these sessions face to face or online?

  • These sessions are all conducted online via Zoom or Google Meet.

Why do I have to fill out an intake form? It seems unnecessary. Can't I just pay and talk to you?

  • This form of clinical hypnotherapy is a partnership between your conscious mind, sub conscious mind and superconscious mind. It is a partnership and it starts with the conscious effort of filling in the intake form.

What's the process like?

This is a specialised three-step process over three sessions to help you.

We use the following process:

  1. Complete the Clinical Hypnotherapy Anxiety Stress Intake Form (compulsory)
  2. Complete the Anxiety Stress Plan (and email to me before your intake call).
  3. Katische will email you after she has read both documents and determine if you are eligible for an anxiety stress intake call, and in this email will be the link to book.

All sessions are via Zoom. Katische services a wide range of global customers including those in Italy, United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada and other locations. If you purchase via PayPal, you can organise your own payment plan in accordance to PayPal's agreements.
